Sergey Melikov, Russian plenipotentiary presidential envoy to the NCFD, said that his executives will monitor the housing construction in Makhachkala. He has met with residents suffering from illegal housing construction in their area and asked them about their problems, his press service reports.
The envoy demanded that Magomedrasul Gitinov, head of the architecture and urban planning department of Makhachkala, give him explanations about the residents' situation.
Melikov ordered his assistant Vyacheslav Peskov to keep the situation under observation. A message was sent to the Russian Ministry of Construction and the Fund for Assistance in Reforming Housing and Utilities Services to form a working group and study the violations.
