Russia Central Bank Governor Elvira Nabiullina noted today that Russia's economy has been growing in quarterly terms for already three quarters.
She pointed out that the main task of the central bank is to maintain a low level of inflation. According to Nabiullina, business has already caught the positive effect linked to this trend. "The business has already started to experience the benefits of low inflation," TASS cited her as saying.
"We see both economic and investment growth," the head of the Central Bank said. She stressed the importance of consolidating these factors. Nabiullina explained that the effect will become evident when everyone believes that inflation remain low for a long time.
