Naftogaz filed a $ 12 bln counterclaim against Gazprom to the Stockholm arbitration, Yury Vitrenko, the executive director of the Ukrainian company said.
According to him, the Russian side appealed to the arbitration on April 18, 2018, and now, Naftogaz is trying to “defend itself” by filing a counterclaim.
The executive director of the company also drew attention to the fact that Ukraine expects a decision on a new arbitration in 2021, RIA Novosti reports.
