On the eve of discussions of the situation around Nagorno-Karabakh at the PACE, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs issued a joint statement, in which they reminded that "the Minsk Group is the only acceptable format for negotiations." The co-chairs noted that they appreciate the interest of PACE members in resolving the conflict in the South Caucasus, but they called to avoid steps that could undermine the mandate of the Minsk Group.
It should be noted that on November 4th the Commission for Political Affairs of PACE adopted a draft resolution, urging Armenia to follow international norms, and to withdraw its troops from the occupied Azerbaijani lands, Trend reports.
