Nagorno-Karabakh: Warlick demands that seven occupied districts of Azerbaijan be freed

The deoccupation of the seven districts of Azerbaijan illegally held by Armenia is necessary for a settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair from the United States James Warlick stated.

"Previously, during a speech at the Carnegie Endowment, I stated that the return of the seven districts surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh under Azerbaijani control is part of the comprehensive settlement of the conflict," 1news.az quoted him as saying.

In addition, according to the US co-chair, the definition of the status of Nagorno-Karabakh will be another important element of the settlement.
