The meeting of presidents of Azerbaijan and Armenia, Ilham Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan, held in Vienna on May 16th, may help to resume negotiations on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian stated, speaking at the 126th meeting of Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Sofia.
The Minister reminded that they discussed tense situation in the region and ways of of it in the Austrian capital.
"We agreed on the implementation of mechanisms for holding monitoring and investigation of incidents on the contact line. It may open the way for resuming the negotiation process on the Karabakh conflict settlement," he said.
