Nalchik opens Russia's largest center for children's education

Russia's largest center for children's education, in which up to five thousand people can study, is opening in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, Nalchik, the press service of the republic reported.

"The building of the children's academy of art 'Sun City' covers an area of more than eight thousand square meters. It is equipped with dormitory buildings, classrooms, a dining room, choreographic space, theater, sports and conference facilities, which has the latest equipment and furniture," RIA Novosti cited the report.

"The opening ceremony was attended by well-known artists: the legendary conductor, maestro Yuri Temirkanov, director of the National Philharmonic of Russia and the State Chamber Orchestra 'Moscow Virtuosi', Vladimir Spivakov, People's Artist of the USSR, Iosif Kobzon, and People's Artist of Russia, Rector of the Shchukin Theatre Institute, Evgeny Knyazev, TASS reports.
