The Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation (AGF) performs all its duties perfectly, the President of the Pan-American Gymnastics Union, Naomi Valenzo said on the sidelines of the International Federation of Gymnastics Council’s annual meeting, held in Baku today.
‘’The AGF shows a high level from the very beginning - as soon as gymnasts and sports officials are down the ramp, they are perfectly met and accommodated in a hotel. All the employees of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation work very well, " she said, adding that the development of gymnastics in Azerbaijan helps the development of gymnastics all over the world.
Naomi Valenzo also thanked the AGF for holding the FIG Annual Council, ”I am in Baku for the first time, I can say that the meeting was very well organized. Everything is wonderful, you have a wonderful federation and a wonderful organizing committee, " the president of the Pan-American Gymnastics Union said.
According to her, the meeting was useful for the world gymnastics. "We worked on the qualifications for the Olympic Games, chose cities for the next competitions. We were showed the budget and other financial aspects of our sport for the next year. Our work proved to be fruitful, because the meetings of the FIG presidential commission and FIG Executive Committee were held in Baku before,’’ Naomi Valenzo said.
