Naryshkin: Sanctions should not be imposed against Russia, but against Ukraine

State Duma Speaker Sergey Naryshkin, in his speech at the first meeting of the new session of the lower house of parliament, urged European countries to impose sanctions against Ukraine in connection with violations in implementing the Minsk Agreements.

"I want to believe that the position of France and Germany, which, by the way, is chairing the OSCE this year, will become completely constructive and objective, and advocates of the extension of anti-Russian restrictions will understand that by following their own logic, they should announce sanctions not against Russia, but official Kiev, its rulers, for violations of the terms and spirit of the Minsk Agreements," TASS quoted Naryshkin as saying.
