The new menu was tested in Vladikavkaz schools for two weeks. As a result, the "edibility index" of meals with Ossetian pies amounted to 95%. A successful experiment will be repeated throughout the republic staring from March 27 - Ossetian potato pies will be included in the menu of schools in North Ossetia, informs the local Ministry of Education and Science.
Also, the school menu will be supplemented with scrambled eggs, meat kupat, porridge with berries. Work on the menu for regional school canteens is ongoing, so over the past two years, the amount of sugar in dishes has been decreased, fruits and cottage cheese have been added. A balanced diet also includes fish and meat. Sublimated products were excluded from the children's menu.
