Gamzatgadzhi Kamilov has become the chairman of the Russian Committee of Deaf Sports, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of Dagestan reports.
The election of the new chairman of the committee took place in Moscow. Eight out of 12 members of the committee's executive committee voted for the 35-year-old native of Dagestan.
It should be mentioned that Kamilov is a former athlete of the sport of the deaf. In November 2019, he was appointed head of the Dagestan Deaf Sports Federation.
