Nazarbayev: Kazakhstan and Russia may become leaders of the food market

Russia and Kazakhstan may become major players in the global food market, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed this opinion at an interregional forum.

He recalled that Russia is currently the third largest exporter of grain, and said that the two countries are not fully realizing their potential.

"6% of the world's milk production is in our countries, 5% of the beef," RIA Novosti quoted Nazarbaev as saying.
