Nazarbayev and Hollande hold talks in Paris

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev held talks with his French counterpart Francois Hollande during a working visit to Paris. 

Nursultan Nazarbayev and Francois Hollande adopted the Joint Declaration, the Treaty on France's participation in the international specialized exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana, the Declaration of Intent to develop cooperation in the space sector and other documents.

During the talks in narrow and expanded format, they discussed the main directions of bilateral cooperation and exchanged views on topical international issues. In particular, Nazarbayev stressed that today Astana and Paris have a great potential for cooperation in economic, investment, cultural, and humanitarian spheres, as well as in the aerospace industry.

At the end of the meeting, Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded the President of France the 'Dostyk' Order of the 1st degree, RIA Novosti reports.
