Nazarbayev congratulates Putin on 25th anniversary of diplomatic ties

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbaev congratulated Russian President Vladimir Putin on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states, the press service of the Kazakh President said.

"It is gratifying that our interstate relations develop in full accordance with the provisions and spirit of the bilateral Treaty on Good-Neighborliness and Alliance in the 21st Century of 11 November, 2013," Nazarbayev said in his letter.

The President of Kazakhstan stressed that cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the CIS, the SCO, the UN and other multilateral structures is an essential element in developing a strategic partnership between Astana and Moscow based on trust and mutual understanding.

Nazarbayev wished Russian President good health and succeeds in the implementation of his plans, RIA Novosti reported.
