Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev extended condolences to Israel over the death of the former President Shimon Peres.
Nazarbayev's personal statement regarding the death of Mr Peres reads that the people of Kazakhstan will always remember him as a far-sighted leader, historically significant person and high-profile politician.
Nazarbayev praised Peres' great contribution to the development of bilateral ties. He said Peres "was a true friend," AKIpress reports.
