Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov on reelection during the phone call on February 14, the press service of the Kazakh President said.
The Kazakh President invited Berdymukhamedov to visit Kazakhstan in the near future, the statement added.
The Presidents noted the historical closeness of the two peoples, as well as the traditional friendly relations between the two countries. They also stressed the importance of further strengthening ties in the political, economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
