Reports of the alleged detention of Samat Abish, the first deputy chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan, nephew of the first president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, do not correspond to reality.
The news was spread by the Orda.kz, citing its own source.
However, soon its editor-in-chief Gulnara Bazhkenova circulated a statement in which she denied the fact of Abish's detention, explaining that the information had not been confirmed.
