The Chairman of the Senate of the Kazakh Parliament, Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, and a Member of the UK Parliament, the Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Tobias Ellwood, have discussed details of the official visit of President Nursultan Nazarbayev to London, which is scheduled for November 3-4.
The speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan said that Astana expects intensification of bilateral inter-parliamentary cooperation. He also invited British MPs to visit Astana.
Elwood, in his turn, describing the preparations for Nazarbayev's visit to London, noted that the UK sees Kazakhstan as its priority partner in Central Asia, RIA Novosti reports.
