President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev failed to start his speech to the UN General Assembly due to problems with interpretation.
Nazarbayev decided to speak in the Kazakh language, a few minutes later the chairman asked the president to stop the ceremony. Due to a technical fault, interpretation of his speech was stopped both in the official channel of the United Nations and in the participants' headphones.
A few minutes later the problem was resolved. Nursultan Nazarbayev returned and continued his speech, RBC reports.
