President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev held an impromptu meeting with members of the Security Council, during which he pointed to the need for careful monitoring of processes on external markets.
"The head of state noted the need for careful monitoring of processes on external markets, assessments of changes in the situation, possible risks and challenges, as well as the development of preventive measures based on the predictions of development of events," the presidential website reported.
According to Nazarbayev, the work of state bodies on social and economic development, as well as the implementation of institutional reforms and the strategic objectives of the state infrastructure program "Nurly Zhol" should be based on a comprehensive analysis of the situation inside the country and in the world.
