The space-rocket complex for launching promising medium and light heavy carrier rockets Soyuz-6 and Soyuz-5 from Baikonur will be named in honor of the first president of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Roskosmos reports.
The website of the state corporation says that the decision was made in connection with the relevant proposal of the head of the Russian state, Vladimir Putin.
It is reported that the object was given the name "Nazarbayev’s start”, Gazeta.ru reports.
