Nebenzya: Iran improves situation in Syria

The Russian side understands Israel's concern over the strengthening of Iranian presence in Syria, but believes that Tehran plays a constructive role in stabilizing the situation in the country, Russia's permanent representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said.

"We know Israel's position on Iran, but we believe that Iran plays a very constructive role in Syria," he explained.
