The United Nations Security Council could convene another session on Jerusalem in coming days, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vassily Nebenzya said yesterday, TASS reported.
The UN Security Council had convened an emergency meeting on Friday following the US’ decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
"I think today is not the end of the story. I guess we should wait for results of the Islamic states’ summit scheduled for coming days and it is highly possible that we will witness another session of the UN Security Council where someone will probably put forward their proposals," Nebenzya said.
