The Governor of the US State of Nebraska Pete Ricketts proclaimed February 26 as the 'Khojaly Remembrance Day' in the State of Nebraska, the Consulate General of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Los Angeles said.
This is the first official document on the Khojaly Massacre adopted in Nebraska. The proclamation was also signed by Nebraska’s Secretary of the State John Gale.
Nebraska has become the 18th US state to condemn the Khojaly massacre, Trend reports.
