Netanyahu and Akimov discuss Moscow-Tel Aviv cooperation

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov will met today at the session of a bilateral commission for trade and economic cooperation.

At the meeting, the Israeli PM stressed the importance of continued cooperation between the two countries, the Prime Minister's Office said.

Netanyahu emphasized the importance of the link between the two states and of the need for continued dialogue regarding threats in the region based on common interests, Jerusalem Post reported.

In addition, the parties discussed furthering cooperation in the fields of medicine, science, construction and agriculture, and that they also discussed developments on an agreement to govern child adoption.
