Thursday became a day of Israel's protest against the policies pursued by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Thousands of citizens all over Israel have joined the rally to express their dissatisfaction. The most numerous protests take place in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem.
Tel Aviv rallies with Palestinian flags on a nationwide day of protest associated with the dissatisfaction of a significant number of Israeli citizens with the policies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, his Cabinet, as well as the planned legal reform, which involves limiting the freedom of the judiciary. The protesters are also dissatisfied with the limitation of the Palestinians’s freedoms.
The rally began in the Jaffa area, where the Arab population predominates. The leaders of the rally congratulated all the participants on the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
A large demonstration is also taking place near the complex of government buildings in Jerusalem. According to local media, the police has begun to suppress the demonstrations, several protesters have already been arrested.
The rallies of the opposition supporters will last until the evening.
