Netherlands Consulate General temporarily closed in Istanbul due to threat of terrorist attack

The General Consulate of the Netherlands has been temporarily closed in Istanbul.

According to the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom, the decision was a precautionary measure due to information about threats of a terrorist attack. 

"For obvious reasons we cannot disclose details about the nature of the threat, or where the information came from,’’ Interfax cites his statement.
