The Nakhchivan-Mashhad train route between Azerbaijan and Iran will start running on December 29, Trend reports.
The launch of the railway communication will promote further development of tourism between the two countries.
Tickets will be put up for sale in Azerbaijan and Iran. One-way train cost from Nakhchivan to Mashhad will be 40 Swiss francs (about $38 on Dec. 23).
