New anti-Russian sanctions agreed upon - source

New anti-Russian sanctions have been approved during a meeting of EU permanent representatives and are set to be published tomorrow, according to sources cited by RIA Novosti.

It is specified that sanctions will also be imposed against Iran.

"Both topics were approved by the permanent representatives and will be finally approved tomorrow at a meeting of the EU Council. Publication in the official journal is also expected tomorrow",

the source reported.

The sanctions reportedly target 6 Russian individuals, as well as 15 individuals and 6 entities in Iran. Several Iranian individuals and organizations are also listed for alleged cooperation with Russia.
