New faces In case of criminal group in Armenia

The court of the Yerevan Kentron and Nork-Marash communities today ordered the arrest of two more people on charges of belonging to a criminal association that was eliminated in November of last year.

The chairman of the party ‘Homeland and Honor’, Garnik Margaryan, and the main shareholder of the YEGHVARD factory of sports shoes, Vladimir Arakelyan, are suspected of involvement in a criminal organization created by Arthur Vardanyan, as well as the implementation and storage of weapons and ammunition, the court told, according to RIA Novosti.

The lawyers of the detainees reported that Arakelyan and Margaryan do not plead guilty.
