A new oil well at the 'Guneshli' oil field in the shallow part of the Caspian Sea will bring the Azerbaijani state company SOCAR 29.2 million cubic meters of gas and 5.5 thousand tons of condensate.
"Drilling has begun recently. Its designed depth is four thousand meters. The well is planned to be commissioned early next year," SOCAR stated.
It is known that drilling works are carried out by the company SOCAR-AQS. It should also be noted that the deep-water part of 'Guneshli' in the composition of the 'Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli' block is being developed jointly with foreign partners, Trend reports.
