Today, in Dagestan, on the border of the Khunzakh and Gergebilsky districts, a grand opening of the highway Grozny - Khunzakh - Botlikh - Arakan area was held, the press service of the municipal administration reports. The event was attended by the head of the Public Road System of Dagestan, Zagid Khuchbarov, head of the Khunzakh district, Said Yusupov, the representatives of the contracting organization, and the residents of the nearby villages.
The road is very important, because it is included to the infrastructure of the tourist recreation zone ‘Matlas’. The opened today part of the highway connects the settlements of the Botlikh, Khunzakh and the Gergebilskaya areas with each other and with other regions. It also connects the frontier posts stationed in the villages of Botlikh and Arani in the Khunzakh area.
