The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Dagestan Musafendi Velimuradov has explained the situation around the State Unitary Enterprise Hippodrome in Dagestan. He denied rumors that the building would be demolished, and tribal and valuable breeds of horses would be sent to slaughter.
''It is planned now to merge several objects in order to build a new racetrack. The total allotted area is about 600 hectares,'' RIA Dagestan cites Velimuradov as saying.
