New record for descent in bathing suits set in Sochi

The participants of the second high-altitude carnival BoogelWoogel set a new record in Sochi in terms of the number of people, who simultaneously descended from the slope in bathing suits, a total of 1200 people, the organizers of the carnival reported.

"Today, about 1200 people descended. In our opinion, the record is set, but finally it will be known in a few months, when the representatives of the Guinness Book of World Records will make the necessary calculations," the spokeswoman of the carnival, Tatyana Arkhipova said, TASS reports.
