The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has commissioned a new well at ‘Oil Rocks’ field in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea, SOCAR said.
The daily flow rate of the well will be 20 metric tons of oil and 1 thousand cubic meters of gas per day.
Remaining oil and gas deposits at Oil Rocks’ field have been developed since 1949.
