Iranian Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, announced the holding of a summit of foreign ministers in the 3+3 format.
In an interview with SNN, the diplomat recalled that the previous meeting of the foreign ministers in the 3+3 format had been hosted by Tehran.
Sobhani noted that this was a strategic region that played a key role in ensuring security and trade between Iran and Armenia.
The ambassador also emphasized that the emergence of the Iranian Consulate General in the Armenian city of Kapan improved border communications.
