Parts of the Falls have frozen over making them look like a winter wonderland.
Mist and spray from the falls freezes in the low temperatures and forms a icy crust over the falling water, Niagara Parks said, make it appear as though the falls have stopped. But the water continues to flow under the sheets of ice, CNN reported.
Visitors even likened the falls to Elsa’s castle from the movie Frozen.
A winter storm is currently headed through the Midwest towards the East, making temperatures drop to as low as five to 20 degrees below zero.
