Baku is hosting F1 Grand Prix Baku 2016. 22 participants from 11 teams are to compete in the speedy and skillfully driving on 6-kilometer-road, which passes through the very heart of the capital of Azerbaijan.

According to the qualification laps, the starting order of the pilots were: Nico Rosberg (Mercedes), Daniel Ricardo (Red Bull), Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Felipe Massa (Williams), Daniil Kvyat (Torro Rosso), Sergio Perez (Force India), Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Romain Grosjean (Haas), Nico Hulkenberg (Force India), Fernando Alonso (McLaren), Esteban Gutierrez (Haas), Felipe Nasr ( Sauber), Rio Haryanto (Manor), Pascal Verlyayn (Manor), Carlos Sainz Jr. (Torro Rosso), Jenson Button (McLaren), Marcus Ericsson (Sauber), Jolyon Palmer (Renault), Kevin Magnussen (Renault).
According to Trend, Perez was the seventh who began the race due to a penalty for the replacement of the gearbox. Sainz Jr receive the same penalty. Magnussen will start the race from the pit lane, not only due to the replacement of the gearbox, but also for the new suspension settings (violation of the closed park mode).
Kvyat withdrew from the race on the 6th lap, Sainz Jr. in the 33 mitute, Verlyayn in the 40 minute, and Alonso in the 42 minute.
