Yerevan's political will to ensure an uninterrupted connection between Azerbaijan’s mainland and Nakhchivan remains firm, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.

“I would like to highlight and reaffirm that within the agreed framework, we are ready to move forward in this direction, acting decisively and consistently. This includes ensuring unobstructed connectivity between Azerbaijan’s mainland and Nakhchivan,” Pashinyan said.

He stressed that Yerevan's approach is to move away from a conflict-driven mindset and adopt a normal, peace-oriented environment and way of thinking.

The Armenian PM noted that progress will not be rapid in either Armenia or Azerbaijan, as narratives shaped by the long-standing conflict persist within both societies.

The PM noted that Yerevan needed to begin working on draft agreements, as well as on the necessary legal decisions. In particular, a company named TRIPP must be established in Armenia.

"We also need to define the routes, development rights, land use, and construction permits,” Pashinyan said.

He emphasized the need to treat the established peace with care, stressing that Armenia, as both a state and a society, has historically not lived under conditions of long-term peace, and that this process requires a new culture and way of thinking.

According to the PM, state institutions must begin preparing for the upcoming processes starting today.

"We are learning just now, step by step, and this process is extremely important...Peace is entering our consciousness very slowly," Pashinyan said.
