In Dagestan, during the counter-terrorist operation, the law enforcement officers neutralized nine militants, the information center of the National Antiterrorism Committee reported.
According to the ministry, the terrorists planned to commit an act of terrorism on the territory of Derbent during the May holidays.
There are no casualties among the local population. One soldier was injured as a result of the operation.
