No covid restrictions in Georgia for Easter

The Georgian authorities are not going to introduce additional covid restrictions during the celebration of Easter, the head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health Amiran Gamkrelidze said.

At the same time, he called on the republic's residents to be careful, as the virus still circulates throughout the country.

"I think there will be no additional restrictions, but we have already learned and tried a lot. Let's try to be more modest. Of course, Easter should be celebrated and this is a great holiday, the dead should also be commemorated, but not with large feasts", Sputnik Georgia quoted Gamkrelidze.

Let us remind you that in 2021 and 2020,Tbilisi residents were not able to visit the cemeteries on the memorial day.
