Nord Stream to be closed for repairs

Gascade, a pipeline joint venture of Wintershall and Gazprom will stop flows on two German pipelines briefly on November 27, but said in a statement that overall gas supply would not be curtailed.

Transport on northern German inland gas pipelines Opal and Nel are planned to be halted between 09:00 and 11:00 local time (CET),Reuters reported.

This would be for work to uphold pressure to take place at the Greifswald landing point for the Nord Stream 1 pipeline, which brings gas from Russia to Europe via the Baltic Sea, Gascade added.
