North Caucasus is one of the priorities of Russian Union of Youth

The Russian Youth Union holds a lot of projects, and implements a number of programs in the North Caucasus and believes this sphere is extremely important. The chairman of the Russian Union of Youth Pavel Krasnorutskiy gave an interview for a correspondent of Vestnik Kavkaza at a press conference dedicated to the patriotic education of young people in Russia, which took place today at the press center of MIA Russia.

"The Russian Union of Youth actively cooperates with regions of the North Caucasus Federal District. For us this cooperation is very important because the south of Russia is one of the priority regions for development. Certainly, the projects that we implement at the federal level are used in subjects of the North Caucasian Federal District " Pavel Krasnorutskiy said.

"Of these the most significant projects that we implemented this summer is the project Student Spring in the Caucasus, which was held this year in Adygea. Indeed it was a bright, creative, and patriotic event. Young people from the regions the North Caucasus Federal District and the Transcaucasian were at our creative festival during three days. The closing ceremony of the festival was very memorable -  the patriotic action Candle of Memory when at 4 am all participants of our festival, including the youth, more than 3 thousand of residents of the city lit the candle of memory. It was very important that young people, including guests from the Transcaucasian region, were also with us,’’ said the head of the Russian Union of Youth.

The first contest  of the student ethnic fashion was so in demand. Next time it will be organized as a separate event. 

According to him, another sphere of ​​the organization was the observation over the process of passing the exam. "In addition, this year volunteers of the Russian Union of Youth ensured public monitoring of the the exam at all points of admission of examinations in all regions. 

According to Krasnorutskiy, it not only allowed young people to contribute to the maintenance of order at the time of the exam, but also gave them an opportunity to get new information about the North Caucasus. 

"Firstly, we helped the organizers to ensure fair process of the exam. Secondly, this is probably interested us the most, and we gave young people from other regions an opportunity to see the North Caucasus, because young people had some spare time. Special excursions were organized for children in order to they could see sightseeings of the North Caucasian republics.
