As of 10:00 the unified voting day is being held in the North Caucasus cleanly and without significant violations, the representatives of the electoral commissions report.
"The turnout in the Gudermes urban settlements has amounted to 5.8 thousand people, representing 19.6% of the listed voters. In the rural village of Noviy Benoy the turnout was 26% at 10:00", RIA Novosti quotes a representative of the local electoral commission.
According to him, this is a high turnout. No violations have been detected yet.
In Karachayevo-Cherkessia, where voting is taking place in 16 districts, 5.4 thousand of 88.1 thousand voters, which is 6.1%, had exercised their right to vote. There are no violations reported in this Republic either.
A little over 4% of the voters have cast their ballots in Stavropol Territory.
In Ingushetia voting is taking place in 40 towns.
As for Dagestan,13.7 thousand people (8.05%) have already voted.
