A resident of the Prigorodny District suffered from careless handling of pyrotechnics, the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for North Ossetia informs.
On January 5, a 47-year-old resident of the Oktyabrsky rural settlement was admitted to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with an explosive injury of his left hand with a detachment of the nail phalanx and two fingers.
"It has been established that the victim was injured as a result of careless handling of pyrotechnics - a firecracker exploded in his hand," the police explained.
Law enforcers urge to observe the rules for the use of pyrotechnics.
