The ‘Drunk driver’ raid, which was held on August 14-16 in North Ossetia, is coming to an end. This was announced by the press service of the Interior Ministry.
The main purpose of the raid was to prevent accidents that occurred because of intoxicated drivers.
The law enforcers have reminded motorists that, under the new rules of the law ‘On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation on strengthening the responsibility for offenses in the field of road safety’, a driver who is caught for drunk driving for the second time, can be imprisoned for up to two years, the News Vladikavkaz website reports
