Coronavirus cases in Armenia grew by 196 in the past twenty-four hours to 39,298, the republic’s Health Ministry reported.
"In the past twenty-four hours, 196 new coronavirus cases were identified. To date, 30,372 people have recovered from the disease while the total number of infected people stands at 39,298," the statement says.
Six coronavirus patients died at Armenian hospitals in the past day, bringing fatalities to 768 since the start of the pandemic in the republic, the latest data indicate.
Armenia extended a state of emergency because of the coronavirus outbreak until August 12.
