A member of Iran's election headquarters, Mohsen Eslami, reported that 59 people had registered to participate in the presidential elections.

He said that 213 people had applied to the headquarters for registration. According to him, 86 people came to register today.

Eslami added that the deadline for registering candidates would not be extended. He also reminded that today was the last day to apply for participation in the elections.

Let us remind you that the presidential elections in Iran are scheduled for June 28. They will be carried out due to the death of ex-President Ebrahim Raisi on May 19.
