At least 55 people died in floods in northern Turkey, the government's emergency management agency informs.
"As a result of the floods, 46 people died in Kastamonu, 8 people in Sinop and one person in Bartin," RIA Novosti reports. Previously, it was reported that the death toll reached 44 people.
Floods destroyed houses, bridges, roads. Hundreds of people are missing.
