Russian President Vladimir Putin has made a number of personnel changes in the power structures. The corresponding decree was published today on the official portal of legal information.
Several personnel were dismissed in regional offices of federal departments: the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Federal Penitentiary Service, the Interior Ministry and the Federal Drug Control Service, RIA Novosti reports.
Also touched upon were the resignations of management agencies in Kaluga, Kostroma and the Sverdlovsk region.
Putin also dismissed the Moscow City Military Prosecutor Viktor Ivanov and deputy commander of the Eastern Regional Command of the Interior Ministry troops Alexander Shaposhnikov. Vladislav Prikhodchenko was appointed instead of Viktor Ivanov.
